About the Event

Come and immerse yourself in the world of bees.

Together we will explore the principles of natural beekeeping and how to apply it to any hive.

You will come away knowing the intricate day to day life of honeybees and their role in the hive, environment and human psyche.

You will also learn about planning for and setting up a backyard hive, planting for the bees, hive tools, legal requirements, how to inspect a hive, how to observe from the outside and connect with your bees on a daily basis and how to catch a swarm.

As it will be too cold to open a hive, each participant will have an additional option to come and inspect with me, one of my hives come spring.

light snacks provided but byo lunch

I cant wait to see you there
