This is an all day event where we will dive into the world of bees. Much of what you won’t read in books and experience based knowledge. This is for those who want to dive straight into beekeeping or already have hives and want to deepen their knowledge and connection to their bees.

About the Event
This 8 hour long workshop is for those who are interested in caring for bees straight away or those who already care for hives and want to deepen their knowledge and connection with their bees
We will be going through
-Planning and planting for the bees arrival
-Building or sourcing hives
-Hive types and how to look after each
-Sourcing bees and swarm catching
-The characteristics of honeybees and their role in the hive, environment and the human psyche
-hive medicine (honey, wax, propolis, fermented pollen, venom and the hive itself as meditation) There’s many reasons that beekeepers live the longest out of all professions. You will learn how to harvest these medicines and use them.
We will also be sharing and exchanging stories.
This is a relaxed workshop where all questions and conversations are encouraged.
